The two characters from Demon Slayer are not going to be appearing in the third installment of the sword-swinging anime.
The eagerly anticipated third season will not feature two of the most loved characters from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu or Yaiba.
According to the Facebook group Daily Dose Of Anime, Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibora will not be appearing in the upcoming Ufotable anime. Their absence is due to their inability to be featured in the ” Swordsmith Village Arch” manga series. Demon Slayer’sSeason 3 covers this portion of the source material. This will be the first season with no couple.

Fans were introduced to both characters in the show’s first season, with the “Final Selection Arc” premiering Zenitsu as well as the “Tsuzumi Mansion Arc” giving Inosuke his first screen time. Zenitsu is a cowardly slayer with blonde hair and a robe of orange. While he is usually a detriment to his team, he can be a formidable sword fighter after a night of sleep. Inosuke is the one who spends most of his time wearing an animal mask and is a reckless wild card who is always looking for an opportunity to engage in a battle. The duo quickly formed a trio with the protagonist, Tanjiro Kamado, and took part in numerous battles during the initial two seasons and the movie.
The Return of Season 1’s Genya Shinazugawa
Although Zenitsu and Inosuke will not be featured in Season 3. There will be a return of an earlier Season 1 character who hasn’t had much screen time: Genya Shinazugawa, introduced in the “Final Selection Arc” in which he was involved in an altercation with Tanjiro. Later, he was briefly featured in the “Rehabilitation Training Arc,” where he battled the main character. Together with Mist Hashira MuichiroTokito as well as Love Hashira Mitsurikanroji, the trio will have an important part in Season 3.

Demon Slayer Follows an unnamed young man who lost his family to titular demons. He embarks on a quest for Nezuko to rescue him who is the sole one to survive and has become undead. He searches for a solution to her illness and joins forces with the Demon Slayer Corp, hunting down demons and battling against the terror of Muzan Kibutsuji.
The upcoming “Swordsmith Village Arc” will feature eleven episodes. The first hour-long episode airing in theaters now, alongside an edited cut of the final two chapters of the season before, the “Entertainment District Arc.” Crunchyroll will launch Season 3 on April 9, 2023.
